Hello, I am Rainer!
I switched from chess to backgammon in 1984 and played tournaments regularly before quitting backgammon completely in 1999 and devoting myself to other hobbies like blackjack, bridge and magic.
After watching some of Marc Olsen's great backgammon videos on YouTube, the backgammon fever caught me again after 20 years. I bought eXtreme Gammon and from then on there was no stopping me!
Since February 2021, I stream my matches played on Backgammon Galaxy and Heroes with live commentary and then analyse them with the eXtreme Gammon software. Besides my streamed matches, there are numerous special formats, such as the match or position quiz on Backgammon Studio.
The project is supported by very nice people who are my guests in the stream or who actively participate in our live chat.
