Brussels-based DJ / producer AMARE is the founder of Audacious, an event-series and record label for the deeper, more emotional, progressive, and organic house & techno music. AMARE paused her academic career in psychology to focus on music production. The healing power of music and dancing had always played an important role in her personal life. The sense of freedom she got from getting lost at festivals all over the world, and dancing the night away in dark underground clubs, has played an important role in her personal development. It has helped her to find herself and her tribe, to overcome all the heart breaks and hiccups alike, and thus, to feel more confident and empowered. In 2017, AMARE started organizing intimate underground events. She tries to curate musical journeys that allow people to escape from their daily worries and to connect with each other. Her mission is to transmit that therapeutical power of music to everyone on the dancefloor - and so Audacious was born.
