BUILDING COMMUNITY, SERVING COUNTRY The Armed Forces & Aerospace Museum is a high-priority project that will provide Spokane and the Inland Northwest with a new history and technology center to complement the Museum of Arts & Culture and other regional institutions. Incorporating a priceless collection of artifacts, the museum will preserve and interpret the history and technology of the military, including all branches of service, as well as aerospace contributions that have paced regional development. Located on a dramatic site at Spokane International Airport, the interpretive exhibits and frequent special events, including flying vintage aircraft, will enable the museum to support education at all levels and spur tourism, resulting in new revenues, jobs, income, and tax receipts, with substantial economic impact year in and out.
