From teenage DJ in Chicago to global creative technologist, Jimmy’s 40-year journey weaves music, design, and faith. He began by saving bottles, caddying for Paul Harvey’s, and spinning vinyl in makeshift clubs—finding “silver linings” in every hustle. A Yale architecture graduate, he blended art and engineering roles from CTO to studio founder, always behind the scenes– essential. Battled CTE and using music to heal, emerging as Jimmy Langford artist, releasing ambient “sound of healing” tracks during the pandemic. In 2023, he turned crisis into community action, leading 12 Stones Global’s MauiPods wildfire recovery—modular eco-homes with hydroponic gardens and “aloha ‘āina” transparency. His latest work as Kaula Lani, “Scroll of the Star-Rope,” channels ancestral chant and cosmic metaphor to process grief and honor the “Garden of Heaven.” With each beat, design, and project, Jimmy transforms pain into purpose—proving that creativity and compassion can rebuild souls and society alike.
