My name is Hai, and I am 87 years old. At this age, I finally allow myself to begin again a dream that has followed me for a very long time. It may seem late, but to me, being able to begin is still something precious. Throughout my life, I have carried many burdens, worries, and pressures. Because of life and responsibility, I had to set aside my dream of having a small farm of my own. There were times when I felt so tired that all I wished for was some quiet, a chance to slow my breath. Now, as I grow old, I only hope that the rest of my life can be lived in peace, close to nature, doing simple things with my own hands, and continuing the dream I once left behind. If you, too, have ever felt tired or longed for quietness, I hope you will stay here with me, and slowly walk the rest of the journey together, in a full and gentle way.
