1 in 4 area high school students face mental illness. Every single day, Imagine Thriving is getting kids to mental health care -- preventing crisis and giving kids the tools to be well. "I thought hurting myself was the only way to control my inner pain. I thought I deserved to have scars. I imagined my funeral." Anna, 16 years old, Fargo. Anna is one the thousands students in our community who have been helped by the generosity of Imagine Thriving donors. We are connecting students to mental health care, assist families in need with the costs related to care, i.e. appointments, transportation and co-pays. It will provide students and parents with critically needed information on the signs and symptoms of mental illness as well as the ways to prevent and overcome mental health struggles.
