Tekt is an artist based in Los Angeles, who creates realtime generative visualizations, interactive visualizations, and live VJ performances. Much of their current work is based on the manipulation of abstract geometric forms, exploring the interaction of light and color through space. They have been creating forms of generative art since 2004, initially focused on audio, but shifted to visual media around 2011. Their primary tool has been TouchDesigner, since 2012, though they also work with Resolume, openFrameworks, Houdini, Cinema 4D, and custom-built software.
