I am a Rationalist, Writer and Human Rights Activist of West Bengal, India. I am an active worker of People’s Science and Rationalist Movement since the year 1989. Presently, I am working as the Secretary of 'Bharater Manabatabadi Samiti' (Indian Humanist Association), an independent voluntary organisation of Chandannagar in West Bengal for protecting human rights and propagating scientific values and rational thought in the society against superstitions and so-called “miracles” or “paranormal”. I compose Bengali mass songs and contemporary songs on various socio-political issues. I am also an essayist in the field of science and rationalistic literature. At present, I am working as the editor and publisher of 'ABADBHUMI', a Bengali little magazine on Art, Literature and Culture. I am free thinker, inquisitive, sensitive and friendly. As a devoted rationalist, I believe in Secular Humanism. I aspire for a peaceful world of equality without exploitation, war, terror and oppression.
