Brazilian vibist Lucas Amorim has established himself as an exciting bandleader and in-demand sideman on the New York scene.
In 2020 Lucas was awarded a scholarship to study at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in New York City for the Jazz Master's program. While at MSM Lucas studied under the guidance of vibists Joe Locke and Joel Ross as well as pianist Mark Soskin (Sonny Rollins), Phil Markowitz (Dave Liebman), Jeremy Manasia and Jaleel Shaw among others.
Lucas graduated from Manhattan School of Music in May 2022 pursuing a Jazz Master's degree in Jazz Vibraphone.
Lucas currently lives and performs in NYC and all over the U.S territories.
