Established by brothers Kevan and Dillon McKenzie in 1985, Commonwealth Recording Studio is a state-of-the-art Music Production, Multi-media studio located in Nassau, Bahamas. The studio was birthed from the proceeds of a song competition which the duo penned and produced the song "Commonwealth Pie". The song won both local and regional song competitions and advanced the brothers to the Commonwealth Song Competition where they won first place, cash prizes and the opportunitiy to perform for the Commonwealth Heads of Government held in Harare, Africa. The prize money was their first investment in studio equipment and the foundation of what would later become Commonwealth Recording Studio. For more than 30 years the studio has produced chart topping music for artists in The Bahamas and the Caribbean, in multiple genres. Commonwealth Recording Studio possesses quality recording equipment on par with international standards and it is one of the leading studios in The Bahamas.
