The John E Vistic Rock ‘N’ Roll Soundsystem are a Bristol based dark wave, garage-psych-punk-rock n’ roll band whose influences include PIL, Bauhaus, The Stooges, The Birthday Party, The Cramps, The Cosmic Psychos, Rocket from the Crypt and The Beasts of Bourbon.
Vistic's live set is a fireball of punk rock n roll fury and psychedelic mayhem, the five piece band setting off a stratospheric wall of sound. As BBC’s Sam Bonham says, ‘Vistic doesn’t do things by halves…’.
The Vistic Soundsystem are a regular fixture on the UK and European live music scene, 2020 sees the release of the band's new album ’Under the Volcano', recorded with producer Tom Hackwell (Plainviews, etc.) at Bristol’s legendary Coach House Studios. Artwork for the album is by the legendary Johnny Stingray (Urban Voodoo Machine etc). The new album has been described as: 'filthy'.
