Hi, my name's Willow, I'm 27 years old, natal female, and I attempted to transition to become a man when I was 16 (FtM), socially. Took cross sex hormones at age 17 and detransitioned at age 19. I'm reflecting on what happened back then, to the best of my memory. My intention is to have people think before they might recklessly go onto hormones or, worse, irreversible surgery and then regret it later. Or if you're a parent with a kid going through the same thing, I hope to impart some wisdom in order to help you in your situation. Everyone's experiences are unique so I do not have all the answers to everyone's situation.
