Ph.D) is the Founder, President & Chief Technology Officer at Eco Marine Power, Japan (EMP). EMP is an innovative marine renewable energy technology company based in Fukuoka, Japan, that is developing, supplying and promoting low & zero emission power solutions for a wide range of vessels. Before starting EMP he spent approximately 12 years in the telecommunications industry, where he held senior management roles for a number of major multinational companies in Australia & Japan. During this time he managed a number of complex projects including several large national mobile network rollouts. Prior to his career in the telecommunications sector, he served 10 years in the Royal Australian Navy in electronics engineering during which he served on the destroyer escorts HMAS Derwent & HMAS Stuart.
