Videos of Mark Sherry's VALLEY MUSIC SHOWCASE competitions now held at New City Brewery in Easthampton, MA. The Showcase is a series of fun juried live performance event designed to show off exciting new talent in the Springfield/Hartford/Pioneer Valley/S. Vermont (“Learning Corridor”) area & give them some assistance in propelling their careers forward. Every other month 6 bands and/or solo or duos drawn from all musical genres grace the stage. Prizes include several hundred $$ of gift certificates and other prizes from sponsoring local area businesses. Judges include local celebrities (elected officials- e.g., mayors, State Senators, well known musicians, DJs, & other local figures). Prizes are awarded at each event for 1st & 2nd place thanks to our generous sponsors. A “Playoff Finals ” featuring the winners of the 2018 Showcase events will be held to determine the “Grand Prize Winner” who'll receive studio recording time for both a CD & a music video, plus much, much more.
