Meet Thomas Cannon, the first-ever Poet Laureate of Oshkosh, WI, who has penned the books Shattered, The Tao of Apathy, Love, Story, and Alternate Forms of Life. His heartwarming essay "Part of the Gift" was the star contribution in Cup of Comfort for Parents of Children With Autism. His imaginative poetry and short stories have been published in renowned journals like Midwestern Gothic and Corvus Review. Thomas is a passionate member of the Oshkosh writing squad, and played a key role in launching the Lakefly Writers Conference. When he's not scribbling down new ideas, he enjoys spending time with his wife, three kids and two grandkids.
