Novelty is a melodic metalcore band from Athens, Greece, formed in 2022. Blending aggressive, heavy riffing with atmospheric melodies and emotionally driven songwriting, the band has been shaping a sound that balances intensity with melodic depth.
Since their formation, Novelty have built their presence in the local metal scene through energetic live performances at venues such as Kyttaro Stage, Temple Athens, Six D.O.G.S., An Club, Death Disco, Architecture, Piraeus Club, and the Technopolis Stage.
In January 2026, the band released their first official music video, “Darkest Days.” In March 2026, they followed with the release of the visualizer for “Alive Enough to Die,” continuing to expand their catalog and identity.
Novelty are currently working on their debut full-length album, which will feature 9 original tracks.
