Hi, I'm Brian Stark. I sing "Standards", songs from The Great American Songbook, that selection of uniquely American music that defined the 1930s, 40s, 50s and 60s, and continues to this day to be some of the greatest popular music ever written. Composers like George and Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, Sammy Cahn, Jimmy Van Heusen, Julie Styne, Burt Bacharach, Victor Young, Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen, Yip Harburgh and Irving Berlin, and Broadway show songwriters like Richard Rogers, Oscar Hammerstein, Moss Hart, and others wrote this terrific music that continues to thrill audiences and stand the test of time. SIngers like Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nat "King" Cole, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin, Barbara Streisand and many others made these songs famous. I LOVE this music and especially love singing it to you! I live, work and perform in New York City, and around the United States.
