I'm Justin Charney,a Grade 8 drummer in B.C., Canada, in my 2nd year of drum lessons. I started with my drum coach, Justen Gordon, in July 2012. From day one, drumming just clicked for me; I know that 12 is pretty young to know what you want to do with your life, but ever since I started I've known that I would be happy if I could spend my life connecting with people through music. I played my first concert in February 2013, and won my first award in March 2013. I've been playing Roland V-Drums Friend Jam since September 2012 and after 4 months, I started ranking in the top in the world. Now I'm studying RockSchool Grade 8, and playing in the band factory program (www.wmec.ca/Band_Factory_Kelowna.html) I do have some natural skills, but I practice 3 hours a day!
