Today, the North-Caucasian State Philharmonic named after VI. Safonov is the largest music center in the southern region of Russia, which consists of eleven concert halls in all resort cities of Kavminvod, including two organ halls in Kislovodsk and Yessentuki. Symphony and chamber concerts, festive and children's programs, opera performances, traditional benefit performances - altogether more than three thousand concerts a year are presented to the audience. In addition, the Annual All-Russian Festival of Academic Music named after VI Safonov, festivals of symphonic orchestras, international organ festivals, All-Russian competitions, festivals of jazz and modern music are held at the base of the Philharmonic Society.
