APMC-Karachi aims to revive the teaching and learning of classical performing arts as well as the culture of appreciating them in all social strata. Through our free or extremely affordable events we hope to break the social barriers in our city and provide it with a culture of music our generations can be proud. Set up by a group of concerned citizens, APMC-Karachi has linked itself to the 50 years old institution APMC-Lahore, whose annual event is well established and greatly respected. APMC-Karachi intends to work closely with other local organizations in spreading musical appreciation. Members of this association represent a diverse range of young and old Karachiites committed to reviving Pakistan's Classical Music scene. Founding date 29th December 2003
