Too many of us have ceded control over our imaginations to the billionaire class, and that has to change. At the same time, the institutions that are supposed to protect us from propaganda and disinformation either can't or won't. No one's looking out for us but us. But together, we can learn how to defend ourselves online. And since the unchecked spread of propaganda and disinformation almost always leads to violence, by learning how to limit that spread we are helping to protect others.
