The New Town Hounds are a three piece Australian Rock 'n' Roll band,
drawing influences from classic U.K., U.S., and Australian Punk Rock, with chunks of 60s R&B and garage rock tinged with surf & reggae.
Featuring Jasper Kennedy in his debut role on lead vocals and guitars, Aydn Hibberd (The Roobs, ex- Philisteins, ex- Powder Monkeys) on vocals and guitars; and Jimi Brown (ex- Boot Hill Gigalos, ex- Cake Walkin’ Babies) on The Drums.
The Hounds came together in 2018 through a common love of classic U.K., U.S., and Australian punk and garage rock. Since then they have been belting out their own brand of high energy rock ’n’ roll in Hobart’s pubs and clubs.
