Founded in 2009, the blog (www.saltcityhoops.com), once an ESPN TrueHoop partner, features our written content, and on YouTube we'll be featuring Dan Clayton's video series on trade deadlines, salary cap analysis, and breakdowns of on-court action, and the Salt City Hoops Podcast, which can be found here and on all podcast platforms.
Dan (Twitter: @danclayt0n) has been writing and editing for Salt City Hoops since 2013, and took over as Managing Editor in 2018. Dan spent more than 10 years covering the Jazz for a variety of Spanish-language media outlets, including four years providing on-air commentary for the team’s Spanish radio broadcasts.
Mark (Bluesky: @markrussellpereira.bsky.social) hails from rural Western New York, and the first basketball game he ever saw was Game 3 of the '97 Finals, upon which he thought the Utah Jazz won the title (and wasn't corrected for an entire year). Mark's son Donovan may or may not be named after Donovan Mitchell.
