Rewind was born in 2022 when four friends from Edgemead High School, united by their passion for rock and roll, decided to make music together. What started as a simple love for the classics of past eras soon evolved into something more. The band name, Rewind, reflects the band's early days when they were reviving hits from yesteryears and giving them a fresh twist. But that was just the beginning. Rewind’s lineup originally consisted of Jordan, Aiden, Davin, and John, with the addition of Simon Jasper in 2024, each bringing their own unique flavour to the band’s signature sound. The turning point came in 2023 when Rewind competed in the prestigious Quay 4’s Battle of the Bands, emerging as the champions. This victory not only affirmed their potential but also set the stage for their transition from a cover band to an original act. With a renewed focus on original music, the band began working on their debut single, "Never Enough"
