In 2010, after experiencing racism and toxic leadership firsthand, I made a career-changing decision: to become the kind of HR professional I wish I’d had.
I returned to school while working full-time, earning a Certificate in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor of Management in HR and Labour Relations. Since 2016, I’ve been helping small businesses and leaders build respectful, high-performing workplaces—because I’ve seen the damage toxicity causes, and I know how to fix it.
My Indigenous identity and lived experience deeply inform my approach. I’m also a certified KAIROS Blanket Exercise facilitator, helping organizations take meaningful action toward reconciliation and the TRC’s 94 Calls to Action.
