CFR band was once described as the best progressive acid blues rock band in the midwest. CFR’s founders Mike and Elias met in 2014. The two found a mutual passion for classic rock bands and spent hours discovering new music. In 2016 the band evolved with the addition of bass player Israel Parada and Robby Tyrrell in 2019. Having a dense catalog of lyrics and compositions from Mike, CFR set out to produce and record their debut album. CFR’s album “Suede Moon” was tracked at Sonic Ranch and Scary American Studios. This professionally recorded studio album packs a punch with heavy driven guitar riffs, soft acoustic melodies, hopeful yet heartbreaking lyrics, and beautiful harmonies all confidently lead by the tight and booming rhythm of drums and bass. CFR is currently playing gigs around the midwest area, showcasing their debut album 'Suede Moon' as well as opening for artists like Country Star Steve Brack, Blues Legend Greg Koch, Seth Lee Jones and Chebon Tiger Band.
