Consecration is a post-metal/rock band formed in Belgrade, Serbia that is active since its formation in 2000. During their career the band has evolved ideally, visually and musically during the years and the current line up operates as a quartet comprised of Danilo Nikodinovski, Aleksandra Gegović, Ivan Aranđelović and Aleksandar Maksimović. Heavily inspired by Anathema, Ulver, Slowdive, The Cure, Neurosis, Swans and Dead Can Dance, the band conveys the undivided spectrum of various genres, disintegrate them into tiniest atoms, then mold them back with their own innovative signature moves. With eight albums in their immense career, comprised of Aux, .avi, Cimet, Univerzum zna, Grob, Plava Laguna, Smrt ljubav smrt and their latest offering Video sam kako umireš, Consecration is shapeshifting the modern metal scene into a much broader interest direction which will definitely gather more fans and listeners as the demand for this particular musical expression rises during the years.
