I am an experimental artist, scientist, and award-winning animator specializing in AI and independent animated films. Notable achievements include the 2023 Best of Show at SIGGRAPH Asia and the 2018 Lumiere Award. My work explores TRANSMEDIA content for innovative installations and short films. After over 25 years in Los Angeles animation, I shifted to academia in Southeast Asia, founding a university animation department in Singapore. I've taught digital sculpting and production, guiding students to notable successes in the industry. Together with Ina Conradi, I co-developed Media Art Nexus, a platform for thematic artistic experimentation in public spaces. My latest work, Quantum LOGOS (vision serpent), combines Quantum Mechanics and abstract animation inspired by Mesoamerican arts.
