George Riddle is a New Yorker by choice and a Hoosier by accident of birth. He is a Mayflower descendant. A veteran actor, he has appeared in over 250 major productions and was featured in the long running hit musical The Fantasticks in New York for many years, logging over 5,000 performances. In 1992 he joined the Tony Award winning hit musical The Will Rogers Follies starring Keith Carradine/Mac Davis/Larry Gatlin and played every major city in the US for three years. Mr. Riddle was nominated for the Barrymore Award as best supporting actor in a musical. On TV he as been featured in The Sopranos, the Defenders, and many others. Fans of the Onion News Network recognize him as cranky old Joad Cressbeckler, the opinionated news pundit.. He owns and rides an antique 1941 Harley Davidson.
