Mrs Ruby Khan-Guptar has been an award-winning, professional singer for the past 40 years. As an artiste with a great flexibility of vocal range, she has performed as a successful soloist, the lead vocalist of ACME Dil-e-Nadan and as part of the famous duo with her brother, Mr Nazimool Khan known as The Dream Team, a name given to them by renowned local promoter, Mr Rafi Mohammed. Awards, too numerous to mention has been bestowed on her during her career such as: Best Bhajans and Best Qaseeda in the 103 FM Hall of Fame and the NAFEITA Award: Achievement for Culture. Her career has seen her perform not only locally, but in many countries such as: London, Canada, India, USA, Barbados, Guyana, Suriname, Martinique, Guadeloupe and others.
