It evolved during the first Covid lockdown. Parasyte Eve's sound is mainly influenced by late 80's and early 90's rock bands, but certainly modern rock bands are also important influences. We tried to put our own stamp on this debut. We don't follow trends or waves, we just write our songs as honestly as possible. Eveolution contains raised fingers, criticism and accusations, but also open hearts, wishful thinking and hope. With broad walls of guitars, powerful bass and precisely grooving drums, Parasite Eve push ahead with a sound built on absolute precision. The songs get just the right amount of playfulness they need, no room for self-centered tinkling. The first single from Eveolution was 'You', which by the way was our very first song produced. The music video for this song was recorded in singer Olli's home studio with a mobile phone camera. The reactions to the song were consistently positive and since then the community infected by the Parasyte has been growing
