Hello! Everyone asks me, "What is it like in Antarctica?" once they find out that I worked on this far-out continent. This YouTube channel is created to help assist me in my answering everyone's question! Embark on an Antarctic Adventure with me as we head to one of the United States Antarctic Research stations! This time we are heading to McMurdo Research Station located on Ross Island, Antarctica. The journey starts from the very beginning....buying my second pair of glasses, packing, exploring Christchurch, New Zealand, the first 24 hours on the icy continent....and continues all way until key drop-off. In between, we'll climb Observation Hill 84 times, run a half marathon, become a kick-ass power plant operator, climb pressure ridges, become a volunteer librarian and barista, meet amazing people and create unforgettable memories.
