Marcel is a singer songwriter from London. He began writing songs and playing the guitar at the age of 17, much inspired by artists such as Kurt Cobain and Jeff Buckley. He explains, "performing is like oxygen to me, I need it to breath" Marcel has many elements to his style. With influences that include, Fiona Apple, Led Zeppelin, Lenny Kravitz, Ray Lamontagne,John Martyn and Van Hunt, to name but a few. That's what Marcel does so well, he blends his influences, conventional and alternative, to create his own unique sound. At present, he is working on his debut album, which is not too far away from completion. It promises to showcase his original and raw style.
