Friends of Lingers is a multi-genre, multi-artist band based out of New Delhi, India. The band surfaced in December 2013 onto the music scene as an Indie set-up with India's first dedication to the LGBT+ community - Head Held High. Termed a hit after the release of a music video in March 2015 (and several gigs), the band went on to release a same-sex ballad in September 2016; a dedication to women called Dignity in March 2018; and a song against hate - Silence - in December 2018. The band is now looking at seeing its first album out by early 2021. The band has been written about in multiple publications including Times Of India, The Hindu, HT City, Gaylaxy Magazine, Scoop Whoop, Rolling Stone, Rock Street Journal and several others.
