My interest in writing poems began while I was working with Abhyudaya Bank. In 1985, while we were working at the branch, a few of my colleagues thought of publishing a magazine. Since we were new to this idea, at my suggestion, Alex Mathew, a colleague, took the lead in publishing a magazine called Growth Magazine. He requested colleagues to write articles, poems etc for the magazine. That time I used to write poems and our Editor reserved a page for me called 'Poets Corner' in the magazine. Since then my interest in writing humorous poems began. Now I have retired from service and spend time writing poems even in Hindi and Konkani languages.
