I began playing guitar/singing in 2005, to meet a need at a toddler group I took our son to. Then playing at other toddler groups & for Baby Bounce & Rhyme Time at Farnborough library, in 2008 (7 years). Our son moved to a SEND school (for children with complex physical & learning needs). I offered to play for a class there & it grew from there until playing/singing for nine classes (I did Summer & Christmas Fairs, plus other events). Our son videoed me for school during Covid pandemic (2020), & Victoria Navin of RMSS asked me to put them on Youtube, for her school to share. I know there are so many better musicians & singers than me, but I've enjoyed a fantastic connection with these children, their parents/carers & lovely staff. After over seventeen years, I finished in October 2025 (doing sessions for nine classes at that time), I called it a day due to a change in school leadership, a safeguarding team that didn't safeguard & with staff spread too thinly over 3 school sites.
