Elliott Zimmerman started playing classical guitar when he was 13. At about the same age he began singing and acting on Canadian television and in theatre. Elliott’s music ranges from folk to pop to alternative. His songs are songs about the state of the world, the meaning of what’s going on within and around us, love and relationships, or just seemingly normal random life stuff, Although Elliott’s earliest inspirations were musicians like Bob Dylan and Phil Ochs, he had a love for all music genres. But it was the music that began in “69 that filled him out. His voice is often reminiscent of Cat Stevens and Al Stewart and it resonates with you in a very real way. H For a few years he played local venues around town but then made the decision to stop playing live altogether. He never stopped writing songs. 71 years later, he has now finally decided to release his original music. 'In the Name of Love' is now available on all music platforms. .
