Emily Otto is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter from Leverkusen, Germany. She is the city’s first resident artist and represents its new professional pop program, the Young Stage Academy. In 2024, she won the “Future Sounds” award at the Leverkusener Jazztage. In November 2025, she will return to the festival’s main program with two concerts alongside US stars Lawrence and Lizz Wright, telivized by WDR. Her debut EP, Clover, produced by Hannes Pries and mastered by Joe Joaquin (Bukahara, AnnenMayKantereit, Mighty Oaks, Juli), blends neo-soul, funk-pop, and indie-folk. With a warm voice, emotional lyrics, and a live show centered on “the oldest instrument in the world – the voice,” Emily Otto creates music that both challenges and touches you.
