The Sons of Levi is a Christian music collaboration, recently formed, that plays both covers and original Christian songs. The band’s style is self-described as “Christian-Contemporary with an edge” and similar to the styles of the Newsboys, Matthew West and Jeremy Camp.. The men are all dedicated to God’s service and their goal is to lead the unsaved to The Lord and to create Christian music that both entertains and sends a positive message. Five men make up Sons of Levi, and each of them are from a variety of musical backgrounds. All are active members of the praise and worship music in their home church. The group is led by a gifted singer/songwriter/musician, Courtney Cagle. The rhythm section consists of John Smoker on the drums and Chris Ellis on bass guitar. The band is blessed to have two very talented guitar players, each accomplished in their genre of music, Tim Roberts and Roger Martin.
