G'day, I'm Westo. I am a 37 year old father of 3 and I reside in Far North Queensland, Australia. Fishing is my passion, my love and its something that I want to share with you. Recently, I have been on a steep learning curve, refining and learning my craft in various location along the East Coast. Learning and moving with new state of the art depth sounder technology and successfully fishing for tropical species like barramundi, threadfin salmon and mangrove jack. Success comes as a result of failure, my success has come from 1000’s of hours intimately targeting, failing, and learning about each species. Westofish is about building a fishing community culture and sharing my knowledge to accelerate your learning through online and on the water coaching, and fishing charters. ‘Knowledge is power, but useless if not shared’ and its been a dream of mine to share, assist guide others on their angling journey.
