Independent. Does things her way. Plays what the crowd needs to hear, not what they want to hear. Born in Los Angeles, she originally began spinning house and deep house. Today her sets and sound enthrall itself in the rawness of techno, but her early house influences can clearly be heard when she juxtaposes her heavy sound with euphoric melodies. Demah moved to Seattle in 2018, after previously living here, and quickly inserted herself within the local techno scene. While solidly techno, Demah’s sound has a tendency to lean to the more melodic side of the genre. However, she can be a monster behind the decks with her ability to veer to the hard, thumping end of techno. “In my dream, the angel shrugged and said, if we fail this time, it will be a failure of imagination and then she placed the world gently in the palm of my hand.” ~ Brian A
