Nicolò Oppicelli (Genoa, March 11, 1987) is an Italian mycologist, naturalist, and journalist. Since childhood, he has shown a deep sensitivity and passion for nature in all its forms. Proud father of Mattia, alongside his mother Sara, he nurtured a strong interest in journalism; he was the founder and editor-in-chief of the national monthly magazine Passione Funghi. Over the years, he has written numerous popular articles, books, and manuals dedicated to the world of mycology and nature. He has been actively involved in educational events and outreach activities, collaborating with health organizations, schools, park authorities, mycological groups, cultural associations, and television networks, particularly Rai3 and the nature program Geo.
