Rearden Roark banded together in early 2011 out of the great city of Chicago. The founding members consist of Dan Berdelle and Matt 'Wang' Christensen.
Dan Berdelle was previously in a band named Analog Device, where he co-wrote music and lyrics with founding member, David Parrish. Tragically, Dave passed away in late 2010, and subsequently, Analog Device dissolved as a band. During this time, Matt Christensen, who is a long-time friend of Dan Berdelle as well as a studied drummer, moved back to Chicago after many years living in Boston.
