Flo/ra is a genre-blurring jazz quintet fronted by Flo Taylor (Ferg’s Imaginary Big Band, Goddess Collective) who shares stories of late-diagnosis, identity and grief interspersed with their intricately arranged compositions. Their music draws on influences from spiritual jazz, classical, folk, drum and bass and chant music to avoid comfortable classification, and to express Flo’s inability to fit comfortably into boxes themselves as a neurodivergent queer person.
