Emerging artist Hemma has spent the last decade carving her own path as a singer-songwriter in the Americana, folk and jazz scenes of the Midwest. Hemma’s music comes from a distinct lineage that’s a function of her immersion in recording, singing and songwriting with her siblings The Hebl Family Singers, with whom Hannah Hebl—the name underneath the moniker Hemma—performed during her early childhood. Hemma steps out with a dazzling batch of songs produced with Sean Carey and Brian Joseph that kick up dusty old patterns and watches as they dance in the wind. “Abalone Sky” is 10 unique musical paintings with lyrical imagery inspired by both the Midwest and California and is available everywhere April 25th.
