FROM TALCAHUANO TO OUTER SPACE. The Mugris is the solo project of Mauricio Chispa, a musician from the city of Talcahuano(Chile) who for some years has been developing a electronic-space sound that has captivated ears looking for new things in various parts of the world. With his machines Mauricio is able to create soundscapes that remind us of some of the icons of the shoegaze scene, but with a special flavor that can only be obtained by being raised between boats and fishermen in southern Chile. His last full-length "Denavi Experience" was released on cassette by Discos Cetaceos in collaboration with Resistapes Records. It contains 11 tracks that are specially made for supersonic travels and heavy mental dance. The Mugris has shared stage with acts like Moon Duo ( USA), Follakzoid, The Holydrug Couple, Ngly (AR-DE), Bob Bellerue(NY), Sam Hamilton (NZ), A Full Cosmic Sound, Alejandro Paz, The Ganjas, La Golden Acapulco, all Diamante Records and Discos Cetaceos artists, and more.
