It was founded by Nemo (aka The Nautilus Project) and Jaymon in 2012. It focuses on atmospheric audio experiences with an emphasis on field recording productions, specialising in electronic music variations of ambient and drone, deep/dub techno, natural soundscapes and related genres, including vocals from its poet in residence, Jeremy Clarke.
