Yichen Li | 2008 | Composer & Jazz Pianist Born in China in 2008, began piano at age 4, learning traditional harmony and modern composition under his father’s guidance. In 2020, he became one of the youngest students ever admitted to the Composition Department of the Middle School Affiliated to Shenyang Conservatory of Music. He started jazz live performances in the same year, gaining valuable stage experience. Music Works 2023 – Go 2024 – Extraordinary 2025 – Bewildered He has recorded with world-renowned jazz masters: Tom Kennedy, Bob Mintzer & Jimmy Haslip (Yellowjackets), Masahiro Ando&Masato Honda&Mitsuru Sutoh&Hiroyuki Noritake (T-Square), Gene Jackson. Stage & Performances Feb 27, 2026–L.A.M.P Quartet at Blue Note Aug 9–10, 2025 – Asian Peak Concerts (Beijing & Shanghai) with top Asian artists Age 14 – 7 Collision Series jazz concerts with Chinese musicians.
