guitarimprov is a youtube extension of guitarimprov.com and the free course, Guitar Improv. This is a college level course, but accessible to teens through adults. It covers jazz, blues and rock. The author, Jim Gleason worked in the 1970's as a studio musician and was employed by over thirty major artists as music transcriber. In the 1980’s and ’90’s Jim authored the Note-For-Note™ series of audio transcriptions of guitar solos and the RPM Guitar Method, used by more than 200,000 guitarists. His insights are now incorporated into a well-structured series of studies and exercises in his Guitar Improv course. Jim Gleason is available for private lessons by videoconference.
