Rafca Fares (May 21 1985 – Ghouma) is a Lebanese singer who inherited her love for Lebanese folk music from her grandmother’s beautiful voice (from Alali). This led her to pursue her own path in her musical journey where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in “Musicology” (2013) from the Holy Spirit University, paralleled with the study of Oriental Singing at the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music. Rafca performed in numerous concerts in Lebanon and abroad (Cyprus, Jordan, Turkey, France, Belgium, Italy, Australia, Canada, India…) Rafca is currently working with Gilbert Rahbani, singer and composer, teacher, friend, and ;-) husband …on her first album release which will see light in the upcoming summer of 2019.
